PBC Team Coaching Opportunities

Portland Baseball Club Team Coaches

Location: Tualatin, OR
Duration: Seasonal - April through July
Compensation: $2,000-5,000 DOE

Portland Baseball Club is a player development trade school. Our mission is to prepare today's youth by learning athletic and life skills through baseball. Winning trophies takes a back seat to intense instruction with skills that will transfer long after their baseball career is over.

Team Coaches will work directly with PBC Owner Joe Taylor to run efficient and productive practices and manage a roster through scrimmage and tournament games. Coaches may be alone or have an assistant coach. But all team coaches will work collaboratively to provide the best experience for our athletes.

We are looking for positive individuals who have a balanced between tough love and being their best friend. Players mold themselves after the role models in their lives and you have a great opportunity to make an impact on these athletes.

Coaches need to be open minded and be willing to blend old school with new school techniques and philosophies. There's a place in today's game for bunting and there's a place to sit back and wait for a bloop and bomb. We need to focus on teaching players how to play the game hard and the right way.
