Why Play Fall Ball at Portland Baseball Club
Fall ball is a time of player development. A time for players to learn new skills, develop pitches, improve on certain aspects of their game, and get instruction from dedicated coaches outside of their community program. To do this, players need practice and game opportunities. PBC offers both! Each age group offers a unique experience for players who are looking to play this fall. PBC fall baseball is open to everyone - no tryouts for fall ball. We will build rosters based on positional needs and players who request to play with their friends. Roster spots are limited so register early to secure your spot.

3rd-4th Grade Team (9-10U players)
$300 for 6 Sundays and mid week practices.
The 3rd-4th grade teams (10U) will play in a Portland area fall league. Games will be on Sundays for 6 weeks beginning the Sunday after Labor Day. Each team will play one 2:30 hour game each week. Grade is based upon your 2024-25 school year.

5th & 6th Grade Teams (11-12U players)
$300 for 6 Sundays and mid week practices.
The 5th-6th grade teams (12U) will play in a Portland area fall league. Games will be on Sundays for 6 weeks beginning the Sunday after Labor Day. Each team will play one 2:30 hour game each week. Grade is based upon your 2024-25 school year.

7th-8th Grade Teams (13-14U players)
$350 for 6 Sundays and mid week practices.
Our 7th-8th grade teams will play in a Portland area fall league. These games will be played on 60/90 fields. Grade is based upon the 2024-25 school year.

9th-10th Grade Teams (15-16U players)
$350 for 6 Sundays and mid week practices.
Our 9th-10th grade teams will play in the Mt. Hood Baseball League. Sunday doubleheaders with 2 hour drop dead time limits. Grade is based on the 20224-25 school year.

11th-12th Grade Teams (17-18U players)
$350 for 6 Sundays and mid week practices.

PBC Mid Week Practice Included
Included in the registration fee is a once a week practice for each age group at our indoor facility. Schedule is here. These practices are optional so if football practice conflicts, go to football. We encourage multi sport athletes! These practices are scripted out week to week teaching mechanics and getting live reps for 30 minutes of hitting, pitching, and infield/outfield. Here is what a typical practice plan looks like.
Play with your Friends
Have friends and teammates that want to play together? On the registration form you can request to be placed on the same team as other players. Simply list other players that are signing up and we will place you on the same team. Rosters are generally built based upon player requests and then by positions to ensure each team has every position covered. We don't do any tryouts so the information you provide on the registration will guide us in building teams.

• Indoor Training & Game Experience
• 90 minute indoor practice each week
• 2:00-2:30 hour time limits for all games with 5 run rule per inning
• All local Portland area fields with certified PBUA umpires for 14U, 16U, and 18U
• Custom PBC fall hat and dri fit jersey provided for each player

• Games moved indoors if rained out - hitting camp followed by team based hitting competition

Registration & Cost
PBC fall ball registration is 100% online. To be registered, you must complete the online registration and submit payment via Square online. When you register and pay, you are guaranteed a roster spot and we will close registration once an age division reaches capacity. Space is limited to maximize playing time for each roster. 10U & 12U Player Fee - 6 weeks of fall ball - $300 per player
14U - 6 weeks of fall ball - $350 per player
16U, 18U Player Fee - 6 weeks of fall ball - $350 per player
Refund Policy
Effective 10/1/22, the PBC refund policy is as follows: League and team fees are non refundable within 24 hours of payment. No credit will be provided if you choose to quit after signing up. Camp and private lessons that are cancelled will carry a 90 day credit to be used towards future training. PBC does not offer any cash refunds. When you sign up for a PBC team, you are securing one of the limited roster spots. We will close registration when teams are full and turn people away at that time.
