Summer Camps at Portland Baseball Club
Portland Baseball Club is excited to offer 20 summer baseball camp opportunities from June through July. Camps are every Tuesday and Thursday and there will be no camps on the week of July 4th. There is a hitting camp from 10am-11:30am and a pitching/fielding camp from 11:30am-1pm. The camps are open to ages 8-14 and players will be grouped by age.
The hitting camps - from 10:00am-11:30am - will feature a number of different drills off the tee and front toss. We will work on creating a solid foundation with a controlled load and stride to help hitters with better timing. There will be drills to work on bat path staying short to the ball and long through it to keep the bat in the zone as long as possible.
The pitching/fielding camps - from 11:30am-1:00pm - will work on different aspects each day. Pitching camps will cover everything from throwing mechanics to command work to pitch development and more. Fielding camps will work on infield and outfield skills for ground balls, fly balls, and much more.
Registration is done online. Payment is done online through our Square page. You will receive an confirmation screen and confirmation email with payment instructions after you register. Please write down the dates you register for as there is no email confirmation with the dates.
COVID-19 Guidelines
• If you have tested positive for COVID within the last 5 days, please stay home.
• If a player is currently COVID positive and has a fever over 100.2, then please cancel and sign up for another camp date.
• Any players who have a cough, sniffle, etc should wear a mask to protect other campers and coaches.
• Players only permitted inside the facility during the camp for safety. Feel free to drop in the first 5 and last 5 minutes of camp.
• Players need to be sign in prior to entering the facility using the QR code inside the door or on the facility computer..
Refund Policy
Effective 10/1/22, the PBC refund policy is as follows. League and team fees are non refundable within 24 hours of payment. No credit will be provided if you choose to quit after signing up. Camp and private lessons that are cancelled will carry a 90 day credit to be used towards future training. PBC does not offer any cash refunds.
